Lydia was born in 1852. She was the daughter of Benjamin Young and Elizabeth Tew. Lydia passed away in 1920, and was buried at Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River, Bristol County, Massachusetts.^[1]

• Miller family records: clipping of obituary from newspaper (name of newspaper unnoted but date of death was Tuesday, Oct 12, 1920, according to other notices in The Boston Globe and The Fall River Daily Evening News. "Mrs. L. Elenah, wife of John A. Miller, passed away at her home on South Main street, Tuesday, after a long illness, having been confined to her bed for 11 weeks. Mrs. Miller was a native of Fall River, the daughter of Benjamin F. and Elizabeth Young. She has made her home in Middleboro 30 years, where she has been identified with many of the social activities of the place. She was a charter member of the Cabot Club and also of the Thimble Club, and held membership in the W. C. T. U. She was an attendant at the Central Congregational church. Mrs. Miller is survived, besides her husband, by two sons, Theodore H. Miller and Alden Miller, Jr., both of Taylorsville, N. C., and three sisters, Mrs. George E. Emerson of Franklin, Miss Hattie A. Young of Swansea and Miss Hortense O. Young of Cambridge. Funeral services were held at the home this afternoon, conducted by Rev. R. G. Woodbridge and Rev. J. B. Kettle, and interment was in Oak Grove cemetery, Fall River."
