Biography

According to some records, Mathew Young was born about 1820 in Warren, Bradford Co., Pennsylvania, United States. He was the son of Mathew/Nathan and Lucy Young.

However, there was no such named person. This person is actually Nathan Young.

The basis for "Mathew Young" appears to be a transcription error in the 1850 census in Family Search, where Nathan (father and son) were incorrectly transcribed as Mathew.[1]

Although "Mathew" is not a correct person, this profile has been kept as a pointer to the correct profile.
