Mary "Polly" Young is the daughter of George Newton Young and Rachel (Rowland) Young. Polly married Jacob Shults and migrated west by wagon train. [1]
Children of Polly and Jacob are:
Polly died in 1848, killed by lighting, at her home three miles southwest of Salem, Dent County, Missouri. Jacob left the area and his sisters raised their children. Polly is buried in the Hasten-Hill Cemetery, in Dent County, Missouri. [2]
