  • David Young Labourer in Leslie and Christian Crauford his wife had their son David born on the 11th July 1813 and baptised by the Rev’d Christopher Greig Min’r of this Parish.

  • David Young, Labourer residing in Stovies Alley, Leith, parish of South Leith, and Janet Chapman residing at the same place, daughter of And’w Chapman, Baker, there were three times proclaimed in Order to marry in the parish Church of South Leith on the 7th June 1840 & no objections offered, and were married at Leith on the 9th June 1840 by the Rev James Grant of South Leith.
