An obituary from the Salt Lake Tribune, Salt Lake City, Utah - July 6, 1938 has been placed on the memorial page. The obituary says that Draper Isaac Younker died of a heart attack after working in his garden. He was born near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on May 22, 1865, but moved with his parents to Iowa when he was a year old. He was one of the early settlers in South Dakota, but also lived in Missouri, Michigan, and Arkansas, according to the obituary, before moving to Logan, Utah in 1924. The following paragraph from the newspaper lists his surviving relatives:

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Christine Ball Younker; two sons, Chester D. Younker of Logan and S. Wayne Younker of North Logan; a foster son, George E. Hughes of Santa Monica, Cal.; five grandchildren, six brothers and sisters, Mrs. Cora Reynolds of Orange, Cal.; Charles Younker of San Diego, Cal.; George S. Younker of Nashua, Iowa; Mrs. Ella Cawl of Ames, Iowa; Edward K. Younker of Davidson, Mich., and Mrs. Ada Kilbourn of Berthold, N.D. [7]
