Claudia Alice Yount was born on March 11, 1892 in Catawba County, North Carolina, United States to parents Dallas Yount and Laura Drum .

Claudia married Marshall Eugene Cline on March 10, 1912 in Clines Township, Catawba County, North Carolina, United States.^[1]Together they had three known children:

1. Laura Pauline (1912–1985)^[2]
2. Gladys Victoria (1915–1996)^[3]
3. Marshall Eugene (1923 - 1996)^[4]

Her husband Marshall Cline passed away in 1942^[5] and although we know she married Ernest Seitz in 1951, there are also sources for amarriage beymtween a Claudia Yount Cline born the same ear who married a J.A. Yountin 1939; 4 years preceeding the death of her first husband ( also 6 years preceeding the marriage of their son, Jr, who names both parents n the marriage license^[6])

February 11, 1951 in Conover, Catawba County, North Carolina, Claudia Alice Yount and Ernest Clell Seitz were united in marriage; both listed as being widowed once prior.^[7] Ernest would pass away in 1973^[8]
