Marianna Zalewski was born on 22 March 1891 in Baltimore, Maryland, United States, daughter of Frantz J Zalewski (1858–1941) and Anna A Lindner (1865–1939).[1].
We're not sure exactly where Marianna was born as the family seemed to be in transit from Baltimore to their final destination of Milwaukee at the time. It has been listed as Baltimore, Ohio, Wisconsin, and even Nebraska in some stories.
Her last name was Gierszewski when she married, but the family changed it to Giersch sometime after that.
Mary (21) married Frank Gierszewski (26) (born about 1886 in German Poland) on 22 January 1913 in Milwaukee. Their children were:
Mary died on 27 February 1945 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States, aged 53. She was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum, Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.[1]
