Pennsylvania Marriages to 1790 lists the marriage of one Frederick Stem to Hannah Temberman. This marriage took place 5 June 1760. This marriage took place about 30 years after the birth of the Fred of Assenheim so this is probably not his son marrying. This may not be the first marriage for Johanne Frederick Stamm.

IGI Individual Record FamilySearch™ International Genealogical Index v5.0 North America lists a family for Frederick Stamm or Stem and Hannah Zimmerman. It says that Frederick and Hannah married about 1760. Hannah Zimmerman is given as born about 1740 in Worcester, Montgomery, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Jacob Zimmerman and Catherine.

Frederick and Hannah are listed in this IGI entry with six children, but only two have information. Jacob Stem was born about 1761 in Norriton,, Montgomery, Pennsylvania. Frederick Stem was born about 1777 in Norriton,, Montgomery, Pennsylvania. Note that Norriton is not the same place as Norristown in the same county; Norriton was little more than a crossroads with a shop or two during the years when the Stems lived in the area.

The IGI source information for Jacob Stem says: “Batch Number: F510845, Sheet: 016, Source Call No.: 1553486, Type: Film”.
