Biography

When Augustus Zimmerman was born in 1795 in Jessamine, Kentucky, his father, Frederick Zimmerman, was 39 and his mother, Judith Bourne, was 39.

He married Elizabeth "Betsy" BARNETT on November 28, 1814, in his hometown. They had six children in 20 years. He died on March 13, 1831, in Nicholasville, Kentucky, at the age of 36, and was buried in his hometown.
