Biography

Susan was born in 1839 in the Republic of Texas. She was the daughter of Ed Allbright and Taffenious Russell. About 1857, she married Asa Daniel Bynum. The couple had three sons:

1. James E. Bynum (1858 - 1936)
2. Asa Daniel Bynum Jr. (1859 - 1939)
3. Thomas Bynum (1860 - bef. 1870)

Asa passed away about 1860, leaving Susan with three sons age 3 and under. Before 1870, she married E. L. Jordan in Houston County, Texas. The couple has at least two children.

1. Nancy Virginia (Jordan) Ratterree (1869 - 1936)
2. William Thomas Jordan (1874 - 1874)

Susan passed away in 1882 and is buried at Jordan Cemetery in Houston County, Texas.
