Mary (Allen) Barksdale was a Virginia colonist.

Mary was born in 1756[1]. She is the daughter of Charles Allen. [2] She passed away in 1835.[3]

She married Nathan Barksdale in 1779 in Laurens District, South Carolina.[4][5]

Research Notes

In Charles Allen Sr.'s will he mentions Mary. Since she was a minor, aged abt. 12 at the time of his Will, she had not married, No married name. Lucy Bacon Smith's will lists Mary Harris as a daughter. This means Mary harris is connected to the incorrect parents, here.
