Biography

Sarah Awdely/Audley was baptised at Hitchin, Hertfordshire, on 28 Feb 1607/8, the daughter of John Awdely.^[1]

She married Daniell Spenser of London at Holwell, Hertfordshire, on 28 Sep (HALS) or 28 Dec (FS) 1626.^[2][3]

Daniel Spencer baptised the following children in Hitchin, Hertfordshire^[4]

- Daniel Spencer 4 Jun 1628

- Sarah Spencer 23 Jul 1629

- Jane Spencer 15 Jul 1630

- Ann Spencer 27 Jul 1638

Research Notes

Both Family Search and Herts Marriage Index give the bride's name as Andley rather than Audley or De Audley. There is a baptism of Sara Awdely in Hitchin on 28 Feb 1607, dau of John which looks very probable
