Biography

William was born in 1528. He was the son of Thomas Audley and Elizabeth Warren.^[1]

He married Ellen Hough, daughter of Alexander Hough of Hough-on-the-hill and they had two daughters:

• Eleanor, who married Sir Edmond Thorold of Hough, died 1627.
• Agnes, who married 1) Robert Thorold of Low Hall, Hough and 2) Augustine Earle of Straglothorpe.^[1]

William died on 22 November 1561 and was buried in Hough-on-the-Hill, South Kesteven District, Lincolnshire, England.^[2]
