Biography
son of Joseph Béland and Madeleine Defoy, of age when he first marries
he remarries on 31 July 1837 in Neuville with Théotiste Quentin/Cantin, daughter of Guillaume and Thérèse Villeneuve. Théotiste is of age, and there is notice of consanguinity between them.
he has several children from both marriages
he is still living when his son Joseph marries in November 1879, but is deceased before February 1893 when his daughter Éléonore marries. The same holds for his wife Théotiste, who is the mother of these particular children
