Biography

1903, July 13: Gunhild Linnea Backman was born to Oskar Backman and Maria Augusta Jakobsdotter Backman in Gräsmyr, Nordmaling, Västerbottens län, Sweden. ^[1]

She emigrated to the US, through Ellis Island in the early 1920s. Her brother John Backman was her sponsor. ^[2]

She took the train to Minnesota.

1924, April 17: Married Victor Thue Mosgaard in Duluth, St Louis County, Minnesota.

She and Victor had four children: two sons and two daughters:
