Son of unknown father and Rebecca Ball.

Isaac appears in the 1850 Census as a one-year-old in the household of his grandparents James and Nancy Ball.

In the 1880 Census Rebecca (Ball) Thompson is identified as the mother of Isaac N. Ball.

Isaac and Matilda Ball lived in Washington County in 1900. They had been married 16 years; no children. Isaac's birth is recorded as April 1843 but 1848 would be closer to recorded age per 1850 Census. Isaac was a farm laborer.^[5]

Isaac Newton Ball married Mariah Allison 20 Nov 1903 in Washington County.^[6]

In 1920 Isaac Ball, aged 70 and widowed, was lodging in the household of James and Mary McKee.^[7]
