Birth and Parents

Clarissa (Ball) Brown was born in Massachusetts.

Clarissa, the fifth of thirteen children of Josiah Ball and Esther Ward was born on 14 November 1775 at Stockbridge, Massachusetts.[1]

Marriage and Children

Clarissa married Isaac Brown, the son of Abraham and Beulah (Patterson) Brown say 1796 at Stockbridge, Massachusetts. They had at least one child born at Stockbridge:

  1. Isaac Brown (b. 4 Oct 1797; d. aft. 1837, Berkshire, NY) m. 5 Jul 1820 at Stockbridge, MA, Eleanor Branch (1796-1867).

Death and Burial

Clarissa (Ball) Brown died on 12 February 1844 in her 68th year at Berkshire.[2]She is buried in Brown's Settlement Cemetery at Berkshire, Tioga, New York.[3]
