Biography
Frances was born in 1813. She was the daughter of John Bampton and Elizabeth Smith. [1]
Frances married George Yeomans on 26 November 1833 in Gotham, St. Lawrence, Nottinghamshire, England.[2]
Frances was widowed in 1850 when her husband died after sustaining injuries in a fight. The coroner recorded a verdict of manslaughter. [3]
In the 1851 census Frances (age 38, maltster, widow) was the head of household living with her 5 children in Gotham, Nottinghamshire, England.[4]
Frances's death (age 78) was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1891 in the Basford district.[5]
