Mary (Turner) (Daniels) Rowland married John Banning of Lyme before 17 March 1751 when he gave each of his sons John and Samuel 70 acres of land in Lyme, reserving the use of it to his wife during her natural life.^[2]

John Banning of Lyme made his will on 08 September 1757 in which he named his "true and well beloved" wife Mary; unnamed children of his daughter Elizabeth (dec'd), former wife of Lt. John Brockway; grandson Thomas Dibble; unnamed heirs of his son John Banning dec'd; son Samuel Banning; daughter Mary, wife of John Wood; daughter Hannah, wife of Joseph Wilder. His widow was to have all the estate she brought to their marriage, and more. Joseph Wilder to be executor. His will was proved 12 August 1759. He signed his will.^[3]
