Biography
Johannes Bargelt was born about 1754 after his parents, Johannes and Catherine, arrived in Nova Scotia. He may have been the twin of his brother Andreas (twins appear in this lineage a couple of times).
Johannes Bargelt would first marry Christina Barbara Kaiser Jun 14, 1774 in Lunenburg, however Christina passed just over a year later on Nov 16, 1775 which given the timeframe was likely due to complications from childbirth. Johannes's second marriage would be to Magdalene Naas on Oct 28, 1778 and they would have the following children in the parish registers;[1]
