Myrtle Mae (Beals) Blue was my Great Grandmother so I have what I would call "firsthand knowledge".

Myrtle did go by a couple of different nicknames (Myrtie, Myrta) but her given name at birth was "Myrtle", no other spelling of her first name is correct. Myrtle's middle name was not spelled "May". It was spelled "Mae". My Grandmother spelled her Mother's last name "Beals", not Beales. Considering the source, I have to assume that this is correct.

Myrtle was Maynard Blue's second wife. His first wife, Katie Muir, passed away in 1918.

Myrtle gave birth to my Grandmother in the year 1913, her only daughter (or child) that I am aware of.

At some point in time, Maynard and Myrtle divorced (I don't know when). Myrtle later married a man by the name of Edgar McKenzie. I know nothing of this union except for a name. Interestingly, my Grandmother refered to her Mother as "Myrtle Mae Beals Blue Mckenzie" quite often.

My Grandmother, Ivell (Blue) Peterson left me all of Myrtle's family photo's before she passed away in 1985. You can see many of those photo's here on Wikitree. I can't identify all of them. Maybe you can help?
