Biography

David was born about 1846 in Ross County, Ohio and a son of Aaron Beath and Elizabeth Snyder. In 1850,^[1] and 1860^[2] and he was living with his parents in Twin Township, Ross County, Ohio. David enlisted as a Civil War Solider on February 22, 1864 at the age of eighteen. He was a Union solider in Company G, Ohio 33rd Infantry Regiment and had the rank of a private. He was mustered out on July 12, 1865 at Louisville, Kentucky. ^[3][4] In 1870, he as still listed as living with his father and mother. ^[5] David married Alice Moomaw on July 25, 1871 in Ross County, Ohio. He passed away on January 9, 1875 and buried in the Harmony Cemetery in Matthews, Grant County, Indiana. ^[6][7]
