Biography
Murrel "Charley" was born in Rainelle, West Virginia on May 9, 1923 to William "Bill" and Zena Green Beller. He was the youngest of six children born to the couple prior to the death of Zena.
On January 14, 1943, the 20 year old Charley enlisted in the United States Army and served as a Private during WWII.
After the war, he returned home to West Virginia. He married Thelma "Lucille" White. The couple had three sons.
Charley passed away on August 3, 1994 in Raleigh County, West Virginia. He was 71 years old. He is buried alongside his wife in Pineview Cemetery in Orgas, West Virginia.
