Biography

John Jacob Beller was born in Green County, Wisconsin on 02 May 1873.[1] He grew up in Washington Township in Green County, Wisconsin.[2]

John married Mary Corts on 27 Oct 1894 in Freeport, Illinois. They had one son together. She filed for a divorce and on 29 Jul 1899 the newspaper printed that they were married on 27 Oct 1894 and he abandoned her on 05 June 1897 and that he was supposedly living in New Hope, South Dakota.[3] The divorce was granted on 07 Sep 1899.

In 1900, John was listed as divorced and he was living in Benton Township in Minnehaha County, South Dakota.[4]

Sometime prior to 1905 he married Mary who was listed with him in the 1905 South Dakota census.[5] She died before 1910. John was listed as a widow in 1910 and was living in Parkston, South Dakota.[6]

On 25 Oct 1911 John married Elvina Berndt.[7] They were living in McCone County, Montana in 1930.[8]

He died on 27 Sep 1932[9] and was buried in Danzig Baptist Cemetery in Avon, South Dakota.[10]
