Biography
George was born in Bothwell in 1865. He is the son of George Burkmyre and Margaret Marshall. [1]
In 1881 he is living with his father, stepmother and siblings in Bothwell.
He marries Sarah Ann Sheilds in 1886 in Old Monkland. Their children were-
- Sarah 1897
- David 1898
They lived in Stirling Rd in 1917 when his son David went to WW1 [2]
He passed away in Renton in 1937
