Research Notes

-NOTE: do not confuse Albert O. with an Albert Blaine enlisted June 27, 1918 - Private 1st class, Battery E 30th Field Artillery, discharged January 26, 1919, this man was Caucasian, from the City of Wagoner, Charles Mix County, SD. He was born 10/20/1890 and apparently died 25 July 1936, the same day as Albert O Blaine. Several military actions took place in his name in 1936, and to make matters more confusing, he was also buried in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery, Greenwood, Charles Mix County, South Dakota)

-Albert O is identified as both widowed and divorced in census reports but appears to have had only one wife
