Frank Gwynne Bothwell was born on April 6, 1861 in Albion, Calhoun, Michigan, United States, son of George W Bothwell (~1837– ) and Alice Louise Thompson (1841–1913).

Frank (23) married Julia Finch (15) (born about February, 1869 in Niles, Berrien, Michigan; daughter of Robert Y. Finch and Celia Jennette (Spencer) Finch) in 1885 in Michigan.^[1] Their daughter was Alice Katherine Bothwell (1885–~1957).

In 1900, Frank G (39), married was a son-in-law, Manager (Hotel), in the household of Robert G Finch (73) in Albion Ward 4, Calhoun, Michigan. ^[2]
