Louis married Dorothée Caissie, daughter of Felix Caissie and Victoire Fournier, on 6 Oct 1834 in Grand-Digue.[1][2] Witnesses were Placide Poirier, the groom's guardian and master(?) ("Tuteur et Maître"), Felix Caissie, the bride's father, and Dominique Caissie, the bride's bother. Their children were:
He died on 7 Dec 1878 and was buried two days later in Grande-Digue.[3] His age noted in the parish register was 63 years, the widower of Dorothée Caissie.
