DEATH. 19 Jul 1944, France

DEATH REPORT. LOST LIFE IN LANCASTER BOMBER. Flight-Sgt John Charles Broughton Boydell. only son of Mrs and the late Mr J. D. Boydell, of 6 Lisson gr, Hawthorn, and brother to Suzanne and Adele, is now presumed to have lost his life on July 18, 1944. He was one of the crew of a Lancaster bomber that failed to return from operations over Revigny-Sur-Ornain, in France. He was educated at Corowa High School and at Melbourne Church of England Grammar. Before joining the RAAF in September, 1943, he was on the staff of the National Bank of Australasia, Bourke st.

Deceased. — After the expiration of 14 clear days Rita Allwright Boydell, of 6 Lisson grove, Hawthorn, in the State of Victoria, widow, the sole executrix named in and appointed by deceased's will, dated the 13th day of January, 1943, will APPLY to the Supreme Court of Victoria for a grant of PROBATE of such WILL. Dated this 25th day of February, 1946. BLAKE & RIGGALL, 120 William street, Melbourne solicitors for the applicant.
