Elizabeth Braddock was born on May 01, 1806[1] in Nassau, Nassau, Florida, United States.[1] Her parents were William Braddock and Charlotte Christopher.

Elizabeth married James Bessent in Duval, Florida, on November 23, 1824, when she was 18 years old. , Together they had 7 children:

  2. Ann Sawyer Bessent b. 1830
  3. Elizabeth C Bessant b. 1830
  4. Christianna Bessent b. 1834[1]
  5. Cornelia Bessant b.1836[1]
  6. James Bessant b. 1839[1]

Her husband James passed away in 1840 in Nassau, Florida, at the age of 40. They had been married 16 years.

She married John Harden, there are no recorded children.

Elizabeth married David Ogilvie[1] in Duval, Florida, in 1845 when she was 39 years old. Together they had 3 children:
