Published in The News Journal on January 20, 2005 - Albert "Budd" Braddock, age 62 of New Castle, DE passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, January 19, 2005. Son of the late Albert Braddock, Jr. and Agnes M. (Cassidy) Braddock, Mr. Braddock was born in Wilmington in 1942. He retired in 2004 as an assistant manager from SuperFresh, where he was employed for 46 years. He was a graduate of Salesianum School and an active member of the alumni association. An avid Eagles fan, he enjoyed all sports. Mr. Braddock will be dearly missed by his wife of 42 years, Marie (Wickline) Braddock; his daughters and sons-in-law, Lori Ann and Donnie Reeder of St. Georges and Lisa Marie and Tony Conn of Newark; his brother, Kevin and his wife, Shari, of Newark; his sister, Mary Ann Reilly and her husband, John, of Newark; and 3 grandchildren, Donnie, Amanda and Tony, Jr. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 22nd, between 9 and 10 am at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, Limestone and Milltown Roads, Wilmington. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Roosevelt Avenue and Dupont Highway, New Castle. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Salesianum Alumni Association, 1801 N. Broom Street, Wilmington, DE 19802.
