Biography
Died of cancer. She worked for El-mendorf Air Force Base school district in Alaska and the rest of her life for Salem area schools. She had been a secretary for Houck Middle School. She enjoyed dancing and was a member of the Eagles Lodge. Her husband, Allen, whom she married in 1950, died in 1988. Survivors include her daughters, Connie Shelburn of Palmer, AK, Teresa Gilbert of Keizer; brother, Huston Brinley of Panama City Beach, FL; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
