Charles married Jane Broadfoot on 13 April 1807 in the parish of Sorbie, Wigtownshire.[1]
Charles was a farmer at Little Balsier in the parish of Sorbie.[2][3]
Charles died on 24 January 1866 in Sorbie aged 85.[4] His estate was confirmed on 14 February the same year in Wigtown Sheriff Court[5]
