Biography

John R. Brockwell, son of Archibald Brockwell and Unknown Unknown. was born about 1801 in Orange County, North Carolina.

He married Rachel Warren about 10 July 1832 the date of their marriage bond in Orange County, North Carolina.[1]

He was a farmer when he and Rachel appeared on the census of 20 Nov. 1850 at Subdivision 4, Washington, Tennessee.[2] He was a farmer when he and Rachel appeared on the census of 5 July 1860 at Boones Creek, Washington, Tennessee.[3] He was a farmer when he appeared on the census of 8 June 1870 at District 15, Washington, Tennessee.[4] He was a retired farmer when he appeared on the census of 1 June 1880 at Blue Spring, Greene, Tennessee.[5]
