Pierre Antoine Brou has French origins.

Pierre Antoine Brou, fils of Pierre Antoine Brou and Marguerite Boyer, was born c.1726 in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana, Nouvelle-France. In 1749 he married Marie Francoise Heidel, a New Orleans Creole of Alsatian parentage.[1]
