Biography

Jacob is a son of Jacob Sr and Ruth (Gordon) Brown. He was born at Jumping Run Creek near Columbia, South Carolina.

He married Elizabeth Bird Byrd (Bird) on 9 Feb 1786 in Washington County, Tennessee. they have nine children: Ruth, William, Thomas Jack, Sarah, Mary, Rebecca, Bird Patrick, Jacob Keen and Malinda Herriet. *They were the parents of:
