Biography
Lilliebelle (Buchanan) Davis was born in Appalachia, in North Carolina.
Lilliebelle (Buchanan) Davis lived in Appalachia, in Tennessee.
Lillie Buchanan was born on October 11, 1886 in Mitchell County, North Carolina.[1] She was the daughter of Joseph L. Buchanan and Jane Hicks.[1] in the 1900 census, Lillie is enumerated as being born in 1890.[2]
Belle married William Davis on June 4, 1905 in Unicoi county, Tennessee.[3] They had 10 children.[4][5][6][7]
In the 1940 and 1950 censuses, Lillie and William's granddaughter Ruth Davis lived with them.[7][8]
Lillie Belle died on May 16, 1969 in Elizabethton and is buried in [9]
Notes
- The FindAGrave memorial has Lillie Belle Buchanan attached to incorrect parents [9] Her parents and birth date are clearly stated on her birth record.[1] There is also a 1920 census in the memorial notes that has nothing to do with this woman.[9]
