Re: Birth date?
Birth date on obituary is 16 Jan 1853.[4]
Birth date on contemporaneous baptism record is more likely to be correct. [2]
Re: Marriage date?
There are two records of a marriage between Friedrich Schwim and Anna Buls. One is on 5 Nov Oct 1872 in Bremer, Iowa. [14]This is the date on their obituary.[4] and the the other is on 23 Oct 1872 in Waverly, Bremer, Iowa[23][24]
It is likely these two records represent the same couple.
Is one a marriage license and the other the wedding date?
Re: Move to Dalmin?
"...At the age of on year, his parents moved to Dallmin..."
[25]
A notation on Anna Maria Luise Bulss' baptism record says: "(getrant zu Dalmin in der Prignitz am 21 Nov 1851)" Need accurate translation for "getrant". Was this the date they moved to Dalmin?
