He stated he was Henry Harrison Burden, 47 yrs of age, living at Wayne Co, IN. Claimed his father was Joel Roberson Burden, died in Michigan. Claimed his Cherokee ancestry was thru the mother of Joel, being Mary Goens, a Cherokee Indian , and she had a brother named Dan Goins also from North Carolina. He thought they came from Warren Co, NC
