Research Note
The documentation for issue on this family has raised several questions, notably the christenings of Ann and Jane, both christened in 1820 several months apart. While not uncommon in the event of a sickly child requiring an expedient baptism, the oddity is in that the OPC transcription records different professions for Richard on the records - which strongly suggests different family groups, especially as there is a Richard Burrows married to a Johanna extant in 1820. To add to the headache, the family later left the Anglican church and records transition to nonconformist records with older children group christenings. However, later records confirm Ann - the child with the deviating record - within the family group. Please review the remaining records and do not remove members from this family group without conmunicating first.S. Grimaldi 2024APR14EST1551.
