Clarence William Camick was born on August 22, 1898, in Charlotte, New Brunswick, Canada. He was the son of Samuel Cammick and Caroline Baxter , his father, Samuel, was 62 and his mother, Caroline, was 40. He married Alice Hazel Abar in 1922 in Boston, Massachusetts. They had two children during their marriage. He died as a young father in 1929 in Braintree, Massachusetts, at the age of 31, and was buried in West Roxbury, Massachusetts.
