James Canty was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)
Edward was born in 1875, the son of Henry Canty and Winifred Pierce. [1]
In 1900, James Edward Canty married Bessie Amy Fegan.[2]
He passed away in 1936, aged 61. [3] Death Notices: CANTY. — On the 12th October, at his residence. 81 Rushall-crescent, North Fitzroy, N.7, James Edward, the dearly loved husband of Bessie, loving father of Cyril, Ida; Lorna and Audrey; father-in-law of Gladys, aged 61 years.
