Carnegy-Arbuthnott-3 and Capel-152 appear to represent the same person because: They are the same person. They married the same wife on the same day. They have the same semi-distinct middle name (Carnegy). They have the same mother. The last name listed for Carnegy-Arbuthnott matches his mother’s last name listed in sources, although Arbuthnott would not be his real last name because he’d be named after his father. The approximate birthdate of James Carnegy was 1870, initially; all sources show that as being closer to 1865. So I edited that, then seeing that his “half brother” has all of the same approximate vital information.
