John is the son of Joseph and Eva Marie (Frey) Carmany. He was born on 02 Jul 1768 and christened on 10 Jul 1768 at Bindnagle Lutheran and Reformed Church in Dauphin, Pennsylvania.[1] He married Elizabeth Reist.
