Ann was baptised on 28 September 1834 in St. Marylebone, London, Middlesex.
Ann married Thomas Samuel Bishop on 4 September 1853 in Saint John Horselydown, Bermondsey: Tooley Street, Southwark, England. She was the daughter of Thomas Cartwright.[1]
Ann died on 23 September 1878 in Butcher Row, Limehouse , Stepney, L ondon.
Shopworker residing with parents in 1851. Son John William born at 4 Bennett Street, East Greenwich - the informant was the mother Ann Bishop of 17 Star Street, Shadwell. Husband aboard his tug - Ann Bishop, a tailoress lodging with a Lucy Sampson and family at 1 Briggs Court, St. George-in-the-East in 1871. Died at Butcher Row, Limehouse Post Mortem, Inquest held 25 Sep 1878. Butcher Row still there today, only a short road and the only place of note is the Foundation of St Katherine. Could this be where she died, as it was a hospital.
