Biography

William Frederick Cartwright was born 28 Jul 1873^[1] in Tehama County, California^[2], son of Annie Cartwright (1858-). He was in Walla Walla, Washington for the 1880 Census, and later moved to Eureka, California. There on 26 Feb 1898^[3] he married Adelaide Rebecca McCullagh (1880-1961). They removed to Medford, Oregon by 1911. They had two children.

1. Clarence Cecil Cartwright, b. 5 Dec 1899 Eureka; d. 28 Apr 1974 Sacramento;
   m. Maecle Mae Van Dorfy and Goldie M Spaulding.
2. Muriel Maysel Cartwright, b. 25 Apr 1911 Medford; d. 13 Mar 2002 Medford, unmarried.

William was a cobbler at the time of his marriage but in Medford had been a carpenter. He passed away from leukemia in Medford, 22 May 1935 age 60^[2][4].
