Biography
Daughter of Will and Sarah Clingman; sister of James, Wallace, Thelma, Vivian, Odell and Clarence Clingman.[1]
Odessa was age 17 in 1930.[2]
She was educated in the N.C. Public Schools and graduated from Woodyside High School in Guilford County. In 1935, Odessa and the late Everett L. Perry were joined in marriage and became the parents of two children. Odessa was a 37-year employee of R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Co.
She was the daughter of Will and Sarah Clingman according to the marriage record.[3]
