When Sarah Cloyd was born on March 26, 1777, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, her father, William, was 25, and her mother, Jeanetta, was 27. She married Christopher Christian Sliger on March 12, 1818, in Washington, Tennessee. She died on November 23, 1844, in Jonesborough, Tennessee, at the age of 67.
