William was baptised on the 25th of December 1775, in Stroud, Gloucestershire, England. William is the son of Joseph Clutterbuck and Elizabeth Allaway. ^[1]

William married Barbara Westley on the 23rd of March 1801, in Stroud, Gloucestershire. ^[2]

William married by licence to Ann Waddams, on 11/12/1816, in Stroud, Gloucestershire, England. Wiliam was a widower and Ann was a spinster, the daughter of James Waddams. Both William and Ann signed the register. Witness to the marriage was Joseph Clutterbuck. ^[3]
