Roseanna or Rosiana Coon was the daughter of Andrew Gohn and Veronica Kuster. She was born in York County, Pennsylvania. When she was very young, her father was a soldier in the American Revolutionary War for the state of Pennsylvania. Andrew Coon died in 1791.
Rosiana Koon was aged 16 in 1793. She was named in York County Orphan's Court Records that year:[1][2]

Rosiana Coon was married to Jacob Barkley in York County, Pennsylvania in 1797.[3]
In 1799, Rosiana's brother, John Gohn, petitioned the Orphan's Court to partition the Andrew Gohn estate.[4] This court record is currently available on familysearch.org:[5]
